First stop is the stone carving village of Batubulan to see the colorful and exciting Barong dance. From there we continue on to the Celuk village, famous for it’s gold and silver works. You can see how the craftsmen skillfully create beautiful gold and silver handicrafts. Mas village, which is a village famous for its impressive wood carvings. We will stop at one of the many woodcarving workshops where you can see artisans chipping intricate designs from blocks of wood.
The route takes you further inland through terraced rice fields and up into the mountains. The vegetation changes from small rice and vegetable plots to bamboo forests and also citrus fruit trees. We will stop at a coffee plantation and see the coffee being processed the traditional way. We also can try Bali coffee, ginger tea or hot chocolate.
On arrival at Kintamani, you will be amazed by the spectacular views of Mount Batur, with ribbons of black lava running down from its peak in the valley below. Holy crater and sanctuary at the top are for the goddess of fertility. We will stop for lunch at Kintamani. On the way to Ubud, we will pass the famous and also beautiful Tegalalang rice terraces. So, photographs here are a must. After a short drive, we will arrive in Ubud, the artistic heart of Bali. And finally, we will visit one of the many art galleries and catch the artists at work.
Barong Dance is one of the traditional dances that use media mask and costume as the embodiment of the creatures trusted by the people of Bali with the mystical. This Balinese dance tells the story of the fight between good and evil. The Barong dance is a good example of the Balinese way of acting out the relationship between mythology and history being blended into one reality and also one of our Bali cultures.
Celuk Silver Village
For centuries, Celuk Village has been famous, besides it is also known as one of the prosperous villages in Bali. When you enter the Celuk Highway, you will find jewelry stores and metal-based crafts along the way offering a variety of silver and gold jewelry and decorative objects. You may take a close look at the craftsmen working on this traditional craft, creating gold and silver jewelry with high-quality production. However, not all craftsmen in Celuk Village are using traditional tools, some of them have used modern technology to make their products.
Mas Wood Carving Village
Mas Village is one of the villages in Bali which is popular as an artistic countryside by focusing on artistic wood carving. The village owns its typical style of wood carving by placing forward the distinguish synergy the humanism and naturalism. Along the road, you will see a lot of art shops selling any kind of wood carvings. On the left or on the right of the road you will also find ricefields. Not only purchasing the crafts, but you also can come and visit here to take a close look at the craftsmen working on their products.
Gunung Kawi Temple
Gunung Kawi Temple is actually a temple complex consisting of a collection of ancient temple reliefs carved into the face of a rock cliff. The main site faces the sacred Pakerisan River, which also flows at Tirta Empul Temple one kilometer to the north. Across the river from an ancient relief is a temple courtyard which features an ancient Hindu temple in a more contemporary architectural style. Here you will also find the river flanking the lush rice terraces and beautiful green valleys.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace
The Tegallalang Rice Terrace is well known for its wonderful scenes of rice paddies and their irrigation system. Known as subak, the traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system which is said to have been passed by a sacred man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegallalang structures the 3 most awesome terraced scenes in Ubud. This place offers a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice paddies on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.
Bali Coffee Plantations is a place we can see the processes of making Bali coffee and also herbal tea. The coffee farm location usually in the mountain area. The local Balinese farmers are very creative to plant a variety of coffee. The farmers are stepping into a new idea to create their coffee plantations as tourist attractions where you may visit in with some coffee for free testing.
